Porcelain veneers Veneers are wafer thin shells made of porcelain. The concept is very similar to that of false fingernails that lengthen and improve the appearance of your regular nail by being bonded over them. Porcelain veneers can enhance the appearance of your smile by being bonded to the fronts of the teeth.
